Elder Thomas L Frazier

Is a native of Atlanta,Ga, he is number 4 of seven children born to the late Willie R and Anne M Frazier. Elder Frazier was saved at an early age and stayed under the leadership of the late Bishop George Briley at Jones Avenue Church of God in Christ. In 1960 he met and married Tollia M. Black. To this union God bless them with 3 children, Thomas Jeffery, LaPamela, and Quietta Frazier. While under the leadership and mentoring of Bishop Briley, Elder Frazier heard and obeyed the voice of the Lord. In September 1974 Elder and Sister Frazier and the children left Jones ave and organized a mission called Ellenwood Mission Church of God in Christ. God blessed Elder Frazier's labor, the membership at the Mission began to grow. In July of 1975 tragedy struck the mission, it was set on fire. Being lead of the lord, God sent Elder Frazier to an open lot on Glenwood Ave. As Elder Frazier got out of his car, God spoke to him and said "this is the place, build here". Pastor Frazier bowed his head, and there on the ground was a buffalo-head nickel. God said , I've given you your first piece of money. During the building of the new santuary Elder Frazier became ill and required two surgerys, while out Sister Frazier and others step in and followed the vision.

On Oct 26,1980 Temple of Faith COGIC held their dedication service officated by Bishop Hicks. After entering in the new church, Missionary Frazier became deathly ill, the road was not always easy, God never promised it would be. But he said he would never leave you nor forsake you. Speaking with authority Missionary Frazier proclaimed I am healed, though the blood of Jesus Christ. God healed her body to this day Missionary Frazier teaches the healing power of the name of Jesus. God has richly blessed the Temple through the obedience of Pastor Frazier. Just as God told Bishop Mason in your obedience he will bless the church where there will not be room enough to hold the people, so is the blessing being poured in the current santuary. Because of the growth at Temple of Faith, we are in the process of building a new edifice at Covington Hwy and Panola Rd.
